Hi Sarah and Barbara,
Ted is a great dog and we are all very happy. We renamed him Rusty and everyone is very interested in helping to take care of him. He has been so well behaved and did not make a peep on the way home or all night in the crate. He is not overly interested in the chickens and I have kept him walking when he looks at one of them. He is friendly to the two cats but does not make a big deal about them either and he is learning to sit in the crate before I let him out (thank you for telling me to do that).
Just now when I took him outside to the potty place our senior cat, Drew, came walking over for a formal introduction. They were polite to each other and everything was fine so that was a good start.
Sarah, you have done a great job matching us with a wonderful dog. Thank you.
