Phoebe got a new home today, one year and one day from her intake into rescue.
Previous adopters, Maureen and Victor were looking for a special girl and they believe they have found that in Phoebe.
The dog that sat in my office today is a very different dog than the one that arrived into rescue with her pups. Then, Pheebs was a terrified, growlie, grumpy, teethbaring, dirty dog whop was headed nowhere. Today, thanks to a dedicated team of volunteers ending with volunteers Pat and Breanna, Phoebe is still nervous, but is sweet, friendly, and anxious to be a good friend.
Phoebe is far from perfect, or 'finished'. She is however, well on her way to becoming a lovely companion.
