Hi Sarah!
Another quick update on Cooper! He is just doing wonderfully. I can not believe what a sweet and good boy he is!
He just discovered that this big yellow thing comes every day, twice a day and when it arrives kids magically appear in his own front yard! They have treats! They like to throw the ball! They know how to rub his ears gently and walk calmly beside him. He is very happy with this turn of events as you can imagine...
And I am just going to have to call you to tell you about Cooper with our neighbor's son who was just recently bitten by a dog. Cooper was amazing and I have more faith than ever that he is going to make a really good therapy dog some day sooner than later.
Other things he has discovered this week:
1. those foam pool noodles can be torn into a million little purple pieces if you really set your mind to it.
2. fresh sorrell is rather sour, but acorns make for good eating when they aren't too green, lol!
3. The soccer ball can be a lot more fun than a tennis ball sometimes.
4. you get a LOT of cheese when you weave through all 6 poles!
There isn't a day that goes by that he doesn't manage to make me just laugh out loud at one antic or another... He is such a delight!
Thank you so much for everything!
Lisa
p.s. we are still "flyball turn" free! AND his counter surfing is slowly going away as we have managed to make sure he has never gotten anything to reward him. So happy with his progress! L
