Hard to believe it's been two weeks since Miss Emmy joined our home! She has fit in so beautifully, that it's like she's been here forever.She has quickly won over our hearts, and soon hopes to win rights tosleep in our bed. But for now, she claims my closet as hersleeping/quiet area.
We took a romp out in the snow today and she is such a mess (a good Southern expression!). She'd bound through the snow going as fast as she could with four-paw drive, then come to ascreeching halt with her snout and whole face buried in the snow. She'd hold it there for about 10 seconds then start bounding throughthe snow again. I wish I could have gotten a video of it, but since it was our first off-leash adventure, I was very wary of doinganything other than keep an eye on her. I've posted a few indoorpictures in the group photo area. (Maryellen, thanks for being such agreat foster mom until we could get her into her forever home!)
