Adoption Update: Boone

Hi all -

I just wanted to let you know that we arrived home safely and Boone is relaxing in his new home.  He's nearly played with Tina, sniffed at the cats, but was very respectful of them.  We've lowered all the blinds on the windows on the street so he has a chance to settle in without the stress of the cars.  He actually did really well in the car on the way home - it's only when the car is accelerating or turning that he barked.  You were all right - he's very smart and is very good at sit and when into a down/stay for dinner and waited at the top of the stairs until I released him.  We can't wait to see what else he can do.

We'll let him settle in for a few days before we try the car again.  In the meantime, we'll work on sitting before the door is opened to hopefully prevent dashing outside, and peeing in the right spot!

Thanks again for taking such good care of him.  Sarah - we hope you recover quickly from your accident.
