Adoption Update: Anne goes home!

Hi Sarah,

We have been enjoying Anne!  What a wonderful dog she is!!

She has been getting alot of excercise in the past 24 hours.  Doug and I have noticed how different she is inside than she is outside.  Inside, she is content wherever she is, calm, affectionate, obedient, hasn't attempted to spot anywhere.   She did steel my hotdog bun off the counter...little sneak!!!   Outside she is fun, but you can see the gears change.  She has a different mindset.  She 's in work mode!

Anne is so in tune with her suroundings and she misses nothing, not one sound or movement.  I have been outside with her alot walking and today Doug and I took her to Hibernia Park.  Anne was so interested in everything around her,  the sound of the creek, the quietness, the wind blowing... we could not keep her attention to play.  Everything was so new to her.  It was fun to observe her reactions.

She did really well with cars passing by.  I took your advise.  I prepared early, had her sit, as we watched several cars pass by us in our neighborhood.  She did not lunge or bark.  She sat quietly.   Today; however, when in the car she did lunge toward and bark at two passing trucks.  But she is doing great!!!

I'm glad you selected her for us.  Great match.  She has such great potential!

We'll keep in touch.

Mary Ann
