We wanted to let you know that Sable is settling into her new home quite well and has quickly picked up the family routine. Walk times and feeding times have been quickly ingrained in her internal clock. She is incredibly affectionate and is just soaking up all the love she possibly can. She is quite a pushy little lady and is still in the midst of sorting things out with Jackson, but she is not going to let herself get steamrolled by him.
Sometimes she can be quite the little instigator, but we're trying different things to lessen the tension between the two of them.
She has learned to walk on leash quite quickly and only has a few moments here and there, where she loses her concentration and forgets there is a large human attached to the other end of it! She has enjoyed the runs, and is slowly building up her distance. She has had a few play dates with other dogs and they have all gone quite well. Two exhausted dogs after it's all over!
Thank you to everyone involved in helping Sable find her way to our home.
