No-slip Crate Pads?
Hi,
Just stumbled on a new use for Dollar store or Wal-Mart's shelf lining plastic (the waffle-weave spongy kind that doesn't allow slippage).
I tried a new crate in the car and found the padded mat that came with it kept slipping from under my Maddi's feet. I happened to have a 6' roll of shelf liner, cut it into 2 strips and it worked like a charm under the mat. This works super well for dogs that do not chew their bedding. Obviously, don't use it with a chewer.
It also works great under scatter rugs or other furniture that you don't want slipping on tile flooring either. Washes well too.

Great information. I never thought about using the non-slip shelf liner in the dog crate under the mat or bed to avoid shifting. I agree that chewers should not be exposed to this product. Thank you for sharing.
