Adoption Update: Dan!

Hey Sarah:

Thought I'd update you on Danny!  He's doing so much better, coming out of his shell little by little.  His walking has improved also.  Thanks for the suggestion on the no pull harness, it works!  I did a short video of him playing ball today...a HUGE step for him.  He's so cute to watch when he's playing.

Take care,

Diane

Adoption Update: Dan!

Hi Sarah:

I wanted to give you a quick update on Danny. He's doing wonderful and we absolutely LOVE him!! He's making huge strides already. He's very attached to me, but does love Pat also. Lacee and Danny get along ok, they really don't interact much. Lacee checks on him once in a while, which I find cute. Danny did lift his lip at her while I was sitting between them...I think he didn't want her near me. I put a stop to that real quick.

We celebrated Pat's bday yesterday, and cooked out. He did well and even came out on the deck once things had settled down and just hung out with us. I've attached a couple of pics.

Thank you sooooo much for taking the time to talk to me and explain how to handle Danny. It really has made things easier. And, thank you for choosing me to adopt him! I feel honored and grateful that he's with me. He'll have a great home and be loved more than you can imagine!

Take care,

Diane

Adoption Update: Dan

Many of you know Dan, the last of the Tennessee Puppy Mill dogs to come to MABCR. Dan is lucky enough to have found a wonderful family to help him continue down his road of discovering the world.

The emotions I feel as Dan heads off to his new life are many more than I can express. Happy, sad, thrilled, elated, melancholy...it is all there, and it is all good.

Travel well my Danny-boy!
