On Our Way! Travels With Polly

Hi Sarah,

We are well on our way to CA. Polly says hello! Here are a few photos and a couple of videos which I hope you'll be able to view. Polly insisted on being the first item of luggage loaded into the car--there she is in her crate all ready to go (we had to convince her that we weren't leaving for another couple of hours). We spent last night at a KOA campground--that's us on the porch swing. And then today we found an amazing dog-friendly spot, Elk Meadow Open Space Park. Lots of dog-friendly hiking trails, a lovely cool stream to splash in, and a large fenced-in area with rocks and trees and things to scramble over.

Polly's Great Adventure!

Hi! 

We just thought you'd like to know that we made it to southern CA without any trouble. Polly took to the road like nobody's business. 3,000 miles in a crate in a car in the middle of July? No problem. She has been such a good, good girl the whole trip thus far. She has proved quite adaptable, settling down in new places each night, finding bits of shade under hot desert sun, keeping quiet and calm in busy urban environments. She seems more at ease than ever, and I wonder if traveling together 24/7 is helping her know even more securely that she belongs with us. Yesterday she went to the beach for the first time ever. It was beyond-words-amazing. We're going back tomorrow.

MABCR Polly-woggle!

Hi!

I'm Polly!

Auntie Sarah calls me the Polly-Woggle!

I don;t know what that means, but she laughs when she says it...

Auntie Sarah also went a little overboard with the snaps.

She says I am photo-genic, whatever that means.

I think it's all silly.

But, I am a good, good, girl, so let Auntie Sarah take lots of snaps.

It was ok, but I got bored...

Then I saw the puppies playing.

Silly puppies.

I want to play too!!
