Adoption Update: Stefan!

Hi Barb and Sarah,

Skittles is better. She eats in 15 minutes. She is not as anxious as she was previously. Stefan is more the leader but they take turns leading each other. She needs continued rehab but she certainly is happier with Stefan here. We are happy they get along so well.

Stefan is very affectionate. Every morning when Bob lets out of the crate, he runs upstairs and jumps in bed with me. He loves being petted and follows me everywhere.

Hi Sarah,

Thanks for the email. Stefan is a delight. He is beyond perfect. Everyone loves him and he them. He is so smart. Agile and smart enough to jump the four foot fence in a heartbeat. Jumped the fences yesterday and we almost lost him. Dixon was outside with him and we took off after him and got him within a few minutes. It was terrifying. Bob grabbed him off the top of the fence today. He knew we were very unhappy with him. He went after a squirrel. We are in the process of getting the yard completely fenced in with the 6 ft fence. The front and one side are four foot.

Skittles is really enjoying having a buddy. They have the same energy level and it is amazing how both of them are responding to the NILIF philosophy and positive training. We cannot thank you enough. He is the best. He is adjusting to being inside because he is so used to being outside and is such an adventurer. But, he is going on two 45-60 min. exercise walks per day besides the out back playing with Skittles and his trips with me to the ball games. I am in love. Skittles is rehabbing very well. That little bugger. Bob and I were laughing about you calling my girl Stupid. Her behavior is stupid and she is much calmer in the last 48 hours. It is amazing.

Thank you so much for giving me the best dog in the world. I could not have created him any better then he already is. He knows about 5-7 commands already. Impressive.
